I'm getting a "Get off my lawn" vibe about the half-time show. Well, to each his own.

Kendrick is a bit like Taylor, I just am not familiar with his music. But what I saw of the dancers the choreography was kind of cool.
The dancers were good. I just couldn't understand anything he was crapping - er, I mean rapping, except the "turn off your tv" line ... if I heard that right anyway.

I thought they cut off the drive throughs? I know in the quarter you can walk around with drinks.

Nope, still there. That says a lot about the drinking culture there.
Nevertheless, it's a very black city where people don't casually riot.

One of my best friends grew up there, he moved up to Oregon a couple decades ago, but most of his family is still there. Including his ex that I "dated" for a minute, before they divorced and she moved back. We worked opposite shifts so Jude and I would take in a movie, go for drives, or a game of racquet ball.

Yes Ma'am you are correct the daiquiri stands still live.

Louisiana is considered a unique state for many reasons, but one unique feature within the state tends to stand out, and that feature is drive-thru daiquiri stores. Drive-thru daiquiri shops may have gotten their start in South Louisiana, however, today these stores can be found throughout the state.
