In my career, I had a Latino young man say something very vulgar to me once in a work setting. VERY vulgar, he was somewhere between 15-17 years old.

I simply said "You don't get to speak to me disrespectfully, young man. That was unacceptable." I didn't change my tone of voice, I didn't yell...I didn't go MONKEY.
