Just fyi, I was an English professor. Do you know what that means? Three degrees in English, and thousands of books read, thousands of hours of serious, legit research. English is the number 1 undergraduate degree in the US for law school. You know why? Because we fucking learn to research, form an opinion, and construct an argument. I graduated summa cum laude. You know why? Because I came up with original arguments. Consistently.

Additionally, graduate English degrees require the study of both theory and languages.
