Lol. The exotic shorthair breed started when someone crossed a Persian with a domestic shorthair. It became its own breed. He is CFA registered and German line. Not a mix breed. His DNA and ancestors are documented waayyy back, lol. They are often misidentified as Persians but only because they are part Persian. Same as Himalayan. Himalayan are a persian/siamese cross. They were then noticed as being their own breed. So instead of having a persian/siamese cross...you have a Himalayan.
