Cool. I don't do FB, although I check my beloved's feed now and then to check up on old friends and family. Id feel creeped out if I started using her FB and I'm not inclined to make my own account there. You know how lazy I am.

Im always ending up with my account restricted lol.

It's gotten better though.

Never happened to me before so....of course i had a panick attack LOL

Oftentimes the refractor isn't set to align perfectly with a patient's PD (Pupillary Distance) so you get that sort of effect you may get when looking through binoculars where you see one image breaking into two and your eyes sort of fight with each other.

Well in all fairness even though we have correctly evaluated the situation, we can't conclusively rule out a brain tumor. In fact any one of us could have a brain tumor at this very moment and we don't even know it.

That's a pleasant thought to carry into the evening.

I wouldn't mind spending a couple of months during the Winter in the Mediteranian @wizer

Is it warm in the winter like California?

Maybe I can visit & you can suggest some places to buy Real Estate.

If I could get an inexpensive piece of land.

From the way you described, seems the cost of the land is actually cheaper than the airfare and accommodation.

It doesn't get as cold in winter and it gets very hot in the summer. Similar to Florida but without the humidity, even though it may be in the 90s for weeks and even top 100 at times you don't feel it so much.

Where I live it doesn't get colder than mid 40s. Snow and ice are rapidly fading distant memories.

Sure come for a visit we will show you around.

Everything's going to be ok.

Doesn't that sound reassuring?

I never quite understood that particular term. It's something someone might say if they were the first to arrive on an accident scene and the person is missing a leg and half their skull is missing with exposed brain tissue and they're bleeding out.

"Everything will be ok". No it's not, the person's going to be dead in like, 5 minutes.

But it's reassuring?

Greece seems safe @wizer

Does it get mosquitoes like most of Canada? lol

Actually where I live in Vancouver, we don't have them cuz we're next to the ocean.

But 99% of Canada is covered in snow 'n ice....and Mosquitoes for much of the year.

Mosquitos are nasty here. During the season we're careful to keep the screens closed because if they find a way to get in it's going to be a rough nite. You wake up and hear that whine going around your head and after slapping yourself several times hoping for a hit you finally drop off to sleep only to wake up with welts all over your body that itch the more you scratch them.

I mean.....what else can be said?

If im gonna die, it's gonna have to be okay. I certainly won't be worried about once I'm dead. It won't be my problem anymore lol.

My girls will be the ones dealing with it. I have life insurance and ive told them to dispose of my remains as cheaply as possible and get all the money out it they can get.

What they do with me will be more for themselves than for me. I dont give a shit what happens to my corpse. Donate me to the military and let them shoot rockets at me for all I care.

It will absolutely be okay lol.

Mosquitos bites do not bother me.

But if they are around me at night, the buzzing bothers me. That happened while camping a few years ago. We left the pass-though open and they got in there, and then into the interior. I had to turn the lights on a few times and kill all the mosquitos that were making noise a few times before I realized I need to close the pass-through.

I think I'll ask the friendly Greek woman at the local supermarket how bad the mosquitoes get in Greece @wizer & if there are any places that are relatively free of them.

Why are you such a pussy, Senile @Joe?

I have heard to talk about mosquitos a bunch of times.

Maybe take a shower and they will leave you alone, you smelly sack of shit.

Not my cup of tea Lex @The Prowler.

especially where you live.

Gets too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer.

And I knows about yer Mosquiter problem.

so don't deny it - cuz I've been there.

After visiting yer neck of the woods it's no wonder the Americans couldn't conquer Canada. back in 1812

Either the winters froze 'em to death or else the mosquitoes ate them alive or the heat cooked 'm in the summer.

You live in one inhospitable climate....Prowler!

IM Wizers best buddy.

I let him feel up my eyeballs and everything.
There are no good friends, only people looking to take advantage.

Hahaha!!!

That is why about 25% of the people in the entire country live within 100 km of here.

Think about it, Senile @Joe.

Just did a quick search and wiki says this: "Ontario was the most visited province in Canada, receiving 39.8% of Canadian visitors and 41.8% of visitors from abroad."

Think about it, Senile @Joe.

This is the most desirable place to live in Canada.
