Drink and chips were free, I have the app in my wife's name so if they ever say like "you didn't pay for those chips or that drink" I say "Yeah my wife got the meal deal" and then they have to point it out to me that no she didn't, well BITCH I can't unfountain the soda can I??? I remember them, tried them out when they were new here, first place to toast the buns.. then it became inconvenient to walk to.. I still like Mr. Sub .. but feel more reminiscent of the times they used Shopsys deli meats .. Tried Firehouse and again not living up to the expectations in my mind

Not a fan of sub or hoagie chains. So much cheaper to go to the deli/bakery and buy what you need to make your own. Healthier and nicer too.

Miss the wholesaler in these parts used to supply restaurants and would drop pricing in accordance to expiry.. I could buy subs for a month for prices equivalent to 2 subs.. Covid lockdowns killed them

I remember doing sub drives in the early 80's for my school to fundraise... (southern NJ). A buck apiece or 6 for 5 bucks. They were pretty ordinary hoagies for the time but SHIT over anything we're paying 15-30 bucks for now.

Ham, salami, pepperoni, cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar.... so simple... so lovely.
