It's a double edged sword, that angst of being short in probably more men than not gives them a little chip, a drive to fit in and be just as good as anyone else, so they might just try that little bit extra hard, the Military, especially the Marines have tons of shorter guys, that are just regular guys, great people that don't make too much of whatever good fortune has come their way. But as we all know far too many little people are emotionally and spiritually scarred for life and die angry by the psychiatric symptoms of a mutated tallness gene.
