"when the heartbeat is normally detectable" whats to say a heartbeat was detected in a particular instance where a clinic is being brought up on charges of performing an abortion after the babies heartbeat was detected. how would one know the babies heart was beating without first performing an ultrasound to begin withMeanwhile, you cannot even find a reference to the term "six weeks" anywhere in the billIf they've been declining then what's the hysteria about? What I wanna know is; If abortion rates are truly on a steady decline over the decades as Nick the Pig suggested in typical Oak fashion why are so many abortion clinics suddenly being forced to close due to the Texas law ?
One of mediocre intelligence or above might have had the idea that since these clinics were indeed providing much needed reproductive care to women and valuable contraceptives all along and not relying solely on baby murder to fund their operations there would be an uptick in their demand now that the rare and declining occurrence of a abortion is all but outlawed in the Taliban Republic of Texas.
Are we witnessing typical liberal contradictory bullshit here? Or are my young impressionable eyes simply deceiving me?
They have been declining.
The reasons are the debate. But as abortions decline, the pro life movement grows.
So I'm gonna say its accurate information, education, the thousands of outreaches and pro life help that have contributed to the decline.
because someone somewhere in a galaxy far far away might have once had a circumstance which stands in contrast to the goals of this law? Namely, to provide a responsible father with some voice in the decision to end a pregnancy.
Or did these fucking morons think that a law which specifically states you have to hear the heartbeat would be sustainable in a criminal or even civil proceeding without evidence that said heartbeat was ever recorded with an ultrasound?
Just for shits and giggles.
See if the Bill contains the number 6 or even Six spelled out as a word which not in the context of providing reference to a section, penal code or some other date that has nothing to due with the term of the pregnancy
Fucking brain dead liberals are being trolled
I could a defend a mother or institution being hauled into court based on this law and score them a victory before even waking up that morning.
Have you read the bill?
The clinics had to cancel all of thier appointments once it went into effect. People were calling to see what would happen.....they are saying they cant even make an app for anyone if the date of their last period puts them over 6 weeks. They are asking on the phone when that date is.
I'm actually VERY impressed with this bill. It's much tighter than other attempts.
MS is also making a move to challenge Roe.
Unless I am reading the wrong piece of legislation? Because from what I've read here the bill specifically requires the presence of a heartbeat to become enforceable and even then only from within a civil context
It goes into gestational age in the bill.
They cant do it past 6 gestational weeks, that's when the heartbeat is detectable.
Watch that video I post, the clinics are explaining it.
I would imagine without the results of a verified ultrasound introduced into evidence it would be very difficult to prevail against one of these clinics.
This is a hollow victory and the only reason clinics are putting the breaks on is to allow time for legal counsel to devise ways to legally skirt this ineffective legislation.
Like I said, liberals are crying over nothing and merely exposing their own hypocrisy as there are far greater offenses against women for them to be throwing their moral superiority at
Did you listen to the clinics explain it?
It's not nothing, the bill is accomplishing what it's intended to. It's common medical knowledge that there is measurable cardiac activity at 6 weeks. If they start going beyond that point there is oversight and this is who and what gets reported.
And....they have to meet safety standards that are applied to every other medical facility.
Seriously listen to the video. Students for Life were calling them to hear it.
