Talked to a couple from SanDiego who were there looking to move the fuck outta Cali because as the husband put it "those people have turned it into a shithole!". I hadnt coaxed any of this out of him or her.
San Diego is still fine but the rot is easily seen in greater L.A. and the Bay area. Most of the people who leave do so for financial reasons; either they can't afford $800,000 for a starter home with sky high costs on everything or else they are very successful and no longer want to pay extremely high taxes and have their business regulated to death.
The single biggest group moving out in shear numbers? Young married couples who realize they will never own a home or live a decent life. The more concerning group is very high earners as the top 10% pay 80% of all state income taxes. It only taxes a few thousand of those very high income earners to leave and the state tax haul suddenly drops significantly. Hell, even Nancy Pelosi is moving to Florida because they have no state income tax. She tells to retards rising sea levels will destroy Florida in 10 years then buys a $25 million Ocean front mansion in Jupiter.
Actions speak louder than propaganda talking points. Just like Obama buying an ocean fron mansion and estate in Martha's Vineyard. Would they really be doing that if they thought it would all be gone in 10 years? Of course not.
