Well Holliday that's what happens when a country doesn't trust outsiders & colludes with the Taliban. They didn't fight them so that's what they git.

Allah was originally a local tribal moon goddess in the Arabian peninsula in the vicinity of Jiddah and Mecca, but she gained ascendency amongst the Arabian tribes, probably through a series of assassinations and murderous raids against non-ascendent tribal centers, and eventually took on the patriarchal attributes of the jew god, Yahweh. Almost a carbon-copy to be honest. (The Ishmaelian Semites have never been quite as clever or creative as the Abrahamic jews.)

When Mohammed gained control of the Allah Cult, he reached out to the jews of Jerusalem seeking affirmation for his newfound cult and religious fervor, but the jews laughed at him and sent him on his way. So even though Mohammed had originally ordered all Muslims to pray toward Jerusalem, he then changed his mind and ordered all Muslims to bow in prayer toward Mecca, which he had recently seized (and slaughtered the ancient religious community that resided there) and made the center of his new religion.

From Mohammed's perspective, Medina was between Mecca and Jerusalem, so he was basically ordering all the Muslims to give the moon to the Jews.
