Yes. It's also been mention last year saw 52 children under 15 were shot in Chicago last year.
They dont care about the spike in violent crime. It doesnt even exist to them. They need to believe red states have more gun violence and mass shootings then inner cities as some proof gun control works when we all see it doesnt.
Making my family more vulnerable to violence is the only way they can save these children that they pretend to care about. If they get the gun grab they want and manage to infringe on our rights to the point we dont have them.....than he can go back to ignoring all the shootings that occur.

It has the most children under 15 getting shot. Also crime in ALL the major violent inner cities, like Chicago, ST Lious and Detroit and Baltimore and Jacksonville is all under reported.
I know Detroit underreports violent crime because they dont want people with money to stop coming down there and spending it at the casino and at Greektown.
The actual point is? Gun control does not work. And when you guys get this stupid gun control. . ..there is STILL violent crime. AND higher rates of rape and murder(where a gun isnt used but knives, strangulation, beating people too death).
Just because a state has a Republican governor doesnt mean it's a "red state" with policies we all agree with.

People are still getting shot, murdered, raped (probably at higher rates just like Detroit), robbed, beaten. Where as if law abiding citizens had guns they could defend themselves effectively. I find it intensely viscious a black mother had her baby girl ripped away from her by a grift partisan org that incites violence th at killed her child....and calls itself "black lives matter".
ALL of these children were innocent.
We would like to see things put in place to mitigate things like this. Like every school having locked doors and people can be buzzed in after identifying themselves. Cameras. And armed security.
That shooter never should have been able to walk into that school with a rifle to begin with. No matter if the government takes gun rights from law abiding people are not .....that CAN still happen and there should be serious security in public schools. It would be nice in the government used taxes more for our benefit.
At this point I'm convinced public schools are a failed endeavor.

The answer to my question is 0.0125% There was a case several years ago where a Chicago resident used his own legally-owned and registered gun in a crime. Every single other weapon recovered and linked to a "gun crime" in Chicago was illegally possessed by the perpetrator of the gun crime.
