West Red Lake Gold might be a sleeper of a Canadian stock @Seamajor

WRLG

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

It's still less than a dollar US per share & they just started commercial mining on Jan 6 2026. If Gold keeps going up i think theyre gonna do well.

I bought 5000 shares. I think its reasonably low risk & it won't hurt the pocketbook that much even if it fell.

Thanks Joe. I’ll keep an eye on it
Penny stocks are volatile and always a risk but I decided to take a chance on them. its not like the investor is paying $100 a share and of course if a stock that price goes bust so could the investor. But at $1 a share, id be willing to risk $4-5000. I wouldn't lose that much even if the stock fell 40%.

But I don't wanna push anyone into investing if they dont wanna. After all its your money.

Mining engineer told me it costs between $1400-1600 to mine an ounce of gold. so anything above that price is profit for them. Of course $5000 Gold their coffers will be overflowing which should push the share prices of all credible miners up.

That is such a stupid thing to say.

You do not understand the price of stocks, Senile @Joe.

More stupidity.

If you invest $5000 and the stock prices falls 40%, you have a unrealized loss of $2000 regardless of the initial price, you idiot!

I have to say that you are unbelievably stupid, Senile @Joe.

Well what would you suggest Lex @The Prowler?

Buy a stock such as Constellation Software at $2500 to $3000 per share?

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

Seems that one has dropped a lot lately and there are a lotta long faces for those who bought into that one...at it's peak.

At one point it was trading at $5,000 per share. But it's lost half its value Lex.

Supposing I bought just 1 share at $5,000, I'd be down nearly 50% today.

What would I do if I'd bought in at $5,000, Lex? Buy and Hold?

Wait for it to go back up? It could be a long wait.

You see, if I buy WRLG at $1 per share, and it doubles to $2 a share and then sell, that's $5000 profit at 5000 shares

This is conceivable if Gold reaches $5000 and beyond and the demand is there.

Why would I spend $5000 per share for a company like CSU which is constantly losing value, Prowler?

Is there something you know about that stock that I don't? Seems its best days are behind them.

Of course, it would have been great to get in on that one at the start, can't see how it's going to outdo its past performance.

I hadn't pretended to be an expert. I'm very new to this game.
But my stock portfolio is up 10% in 4 months. Pro-rated that's 30% per year.
That being said, I'm highly aware that stocks can fall on a dime.
Therefore, I'd rather not get too smug and count my chickens before they are hatched.
I've also dversified bought what are considered safer stocks such as utilities, staples, insurance, Canadian banks conservative ETFs.

More stupidity.

If you invest $5000 and the stock prices falls 40%, you have a unrealized loss of $2000 regardless of the initial price, you idiot!

I don't think WRLG will go down that much Lex. It's now a well-established mining company in your province and has a decent reputation. They've been a around for a while. Perhaps a steep drop in the price of gold could cause WRLG stock price to drop. However, it would appear the opposite will be true as Gold continues to ramp higher. $5000 Gold may be coming soon. It's already close to $4700. Once it reaches that psychological milestone, it may have higher to go after that.
I have to say that you are unbelievably stupid, Senile @Joe.
Here's one recent source citing that it costs about $1400 USD to mine one ounce of gold in 2026:

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

"Mining an ounce of gold costs approximately $1,388, compared to $27 per ounce of silver. "
Now...if you have any sources which prove otherwise, post them here Lex @The Prowler

An idiot writes an article and another idiot cites that article.

Look at the source of the numbers in that article, Senile @Joe.

You are fuckin' clueless.

You are an idiot.

It varies widely.

In some instances, it is not economically feasible. In some, highly profitable.

There are so many other things to consider. Capacity being an obvious one.

Someone says something idiotic and you quote it. No critical thinking. You just accept it.

You are dumb, Senile @Joe.

Last I saw Gold is up $156 US and over $4800, on its way to $5000 per ounce soon @Seamajor

I am going to start mining gold in my backyard.

This real smart guy on the Interweb told me I will make a profit of $3500 for every ounce I mine. Simple as that.

Hey Senile @Joe...I have a 10 pound brick of .9999 gold that I want to sell. How many ounces is that....!???!?

I wonder if Joe saves the gold foil when he eats one of his chocolate coins. All that gold could add up.

He makes me laugh.

He buys a couple of ounces of gold and thinks he is a big investor.

I owned more gold when I was in high school than he does now.

I don't have gold, but I do have a few collectibles. Joe wasn't interested in my Revenue Stamps. He totally lost out. I ended up selling them for far more than I would have sold them to Joe for.

I am making fun of your lack of knowledge, Senile @Joe.

I asked you a long time ago how many ounces were in a pound of gold and you refused to answer so I have been mocking you about it for months now!

Man, so much of what I do just flies over your pea brain.

All the markets are up too.

Trump brings hope.
And a debasement of the US Dollar Lex @The Prowler.

I'd wager we'd better be prepared for a crazy year in the markets, Lex.

We'll probably see a steep rise in assets when Trump replaces Jerome Powell.

But then after that a possible downturn later in the year.

BTW, these are not my predictions, but from pro-Trump supporters, Prowler.

Here's one:

He's very anti-immigrant, pro Trump, MAGA Republican.

So if he says it, be worth watching his interview, Lex.
