I'm going to do what I originally was going to do. Crush up some leftover penicillin based antibiotic, adjusted by dose by weight for puppy. Get her going on it for 4 days, and THEN go to the vet if the inflammation doesn't subside.
It's basically a hang nail.... ffs.
