Things you do that you thought no one else did until you got on the internet and saw other people doing it

One of mine is ....cat sniffing.

I used to think I was weird for this. When I pick my cat up, I sniff her. Hard too. I even make noises while doing it.

When I catch her curled up in the cashew position sleeping...I can't help it. Thats like peak cat sniffing time because they've been asleep and getting all warm and kicking out that really good cat smell. I will shove my whole face right into her belly and say "numnumnumnum" in a high pitched baby voice while I get my fix.

Ive had her since she was 5 weeks old and spicey so she is so used to me doing it that she will expose MORE of her belly and make that trill "cat activation' sound and she just purrs hard and milk treads my head.

Its a mystery of the universe how cat breath can reek like a rotting dumpster. A fishy rotting dumpster....even when thry dont ever eat fish.....and yet their fur smells like absolute heaven after they've licked themselves.

I didnt know SO many other people love cat smell until I saw them discuss it online.

Cat spanking is up there as well. I knew my cat LOVES getting spanked. I didnt know it was an actual thing until I saw it online and saw how many other people have cats that loved being spanked.

So what's your thing? Youre quirk you thought you were weird for that turned out to be a common human thing most of us do?

They smell mostly like their saliva if you think about it. My cats somehow smell sweet and almost floral. Just subtle.
My one cat loves gentle spanks and being rough-petted like a dog lol!.


I have food texture issues. I threw up at work tonight because I touched old food that fell out of the wash at work.
I still sit criss-cross applesauce.
I dunno, most of my list sounds like a list of symptoms . Like shit!
I rinse all dishes before use. Not because of cockroaches, but because I don't like soapy food.

I cant handle any sort of food grease. Especially once it gets solid.

I gag and puke over it.

Its fun ta put em at ease til they get so relaxed that they roll on their backs and start ta play with you.

Dogs sometimes do that too.

It's like have a live toy pet at your disposal

Mutually beneficial for pet & human alike.

I also like it when cats and dogs get real close with their bodies and massage your calves when they roll past ya.
