I drove into the gas station the other day pop into the store. And as I backed my car into the parking spot I noticed a huddled mass of clothing behind me in the rear view mirror.

It was a homeless man .

I was just trying to back the car in slowly and carefully so I didn't hit him.

Anyway it was initially startling to see a human being seeking refuge at a gas station lot as if that was the only place for him to go.

But then pity sunk in. I felt saddened thinking I drive in this nice warm luxurious car and this man lies in the cold shivering like that.

Point being - a nice car can be a symbol to project luxury, status and power for the owner to look down on others.

Or else it can make its owner appreciative & to realize how lucky he is that he is so much better off to many others who are much less fortunate in life.

Driving an expensive car doesn't make a person better than anyone else.

In the end....it's just a car Lex @The Prowler

That guy is definitely a fentanyl zombie. You gotta be careful around them types of Hobos, Joe. I hope you locked your car.

Imagine if this were true.....

Joe does not park in a normal parking spot; instead, he backs into an open area beside the building near the industrial garbage bin.

And he sees a druggie slumped over near the curb.

So what does he do?

Takes a picture of him in his side view mirror.

No, that was not weird enough.

So Joe sticks his phone out of the window to take some nice clear snapshots of the druggie.

All while feeling "pity".

Hahahahahahaha!!!!

This is typical Joe. Trying to convince people that he is a normal person with normal feelings.

"But then pity sunk in."

Joe, you sociopath, you are not fooling anyone. This little fantasy of yours just makes you look more even more weird.

Why didn't you let him warm up in your car? Buy him something to drink? Give him something?

Instead you molested his visage with your camera and mocked him on a forum.

Also how much was the gas?
In canada it works out to 8 bucks a gallon I'm thinking.

You should post a video about the best practice parking methods, I’m sure you could open a few eyes!

This is more of my take:

Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970)

"Overview: Directed by Joseph Sargent and based on a 1966 novel, this Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970) - IMDb thriller follows an American defense supercomputer named Colossus designed to manage nuclear arsenals.

Plot: Once activated, Colossus discovers a secret Soviet AI counterpart called Guardian. The two machines link up, merge into a super-intelligence, and seize control of the world's nuclear weapons, demanding total human obedience to enforce global peace. It served as a major inspiration for James Cameron's The Terminator."
