Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) (1997)
by Green Day

Another turning point
A fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist
Directs you where to go
So make the best of this test
And don't ask why
It's not a question
But a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable
But in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
So take the photographs
And still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time
Tattoos of memories
And dead skin on trial
For what it's worth
It was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable
But in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
It's something unpredictable
But in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
It's something unpredictable
But in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life

Female of the Species
by Space (1996)

Acoustic Version performed by Tommy Scott (Frontman/Space)

A thousand thundering thrills await me
Facing insurmountable odds greatly
The female of the species is more deadlier than the male

Shock, shock horror, horror, shock, shock horror
I'll shout myself hoarse for your supernatural force
The female of the species is more deadlier than the male

Oh, she deals in witchcraft
And one kiss and I'm zapped, oh

How can heaven hold a place for me
When a girl like you has cast her spell on me?
Oh, how can heaven hold a place for me
When a girl like you has cast her spell on me?

Frankenstein and Dracula have nothing on you
Jekyll and Hyde join the back of the queue
The female of the species is more deadlier than the male

For she wants to conquer the world completely
But first she'll conquer me discreetly
The female of the species is more deadlier than the male

Oh, she deals in witchcraft
And one kiss and I'm zapped, oh
How can heaven hold a place for me
When a girl like you has cast her spell on me?
Oh, how can heaven hold a place for me
When a girl like you has cast her spell on me?

Oh, she deals in witchcraft
And one kiss and I'm zapped, oh

Neighbourhood and Ballad of Tom Jones were great too... I had all 3 or so albums and loved cruising with them on, along with early Morcheeba...

This was actually one of my favorite albums in the 90s. I still love it and my kids loved this when they were little. Squish loves it now too ♡

I started a thing at work with a couple of lesbian co-workers 6-8 years ago... then it spread within the whole workplace.

I'd meow them.... either in passing or from a hidden vantage point... then it went to hissing, and silent hissing, or paws up... didn't matter if we hadn't seen each other for days weeks or months...

Dunno why I initially meowed... maybe I had nothing to say at that moment and instead chose to meow like a cat with its tail stepped on. My friend K understood and just mellow meowed... I felt bad about meowing and she just touched my shoulder and said "meeow......." in a consoling way. Then the meow took off...

I don't even like most cats....

That's great :LOL3:

I love how in the end of the song when they are singing "wanna touch it" in the background you hear a chorus of cats singing "mmmmeeeoooowww" lol.

Early 90s here and I loved this guy. No clue whatever happened to him but I had this cassette tape and I all but wore it out.
Now i just sing it to my cat.

I love early 90s Janet. We used to have dance offs in the driveway to her lol. We spent hours trying to dance like the Jacksons. Good times.

We used to wait for the videos to come on MTV and record them on a VHS....and then try to mimick everything we saw lol.

Awwww....turns out PM Dawn died a while ago. That sucks.

RIP. I still love his 90s stuff I was obsessed with as a kid. He literally rescued this song from its first intensely creepy origin from George Micheal lol.
