Because that happened, and it was horrifying. </p><p></p><p> During a pandemic of a novel virus.....governors took it upon themselves to stop doctors from practicing medicine. Stopped doctors from doing what doctors do. This how science WORKS. Off label use of meds has given us such advancements in treatment options for a plethora of disease, conditions, even boners(viagra is actually a heart medication with a rather pleasant side effect)</p><p></p><p> Now dont you find that far more disgusting and offensive and authoritarian......then Trump saying it showed promise? What's wrong with having hope and building on the evidence that was shown years ago? </p><p></p><p> And why on earth are you being so smug over this? No one ever said it was miracle cure. Viruses cannot be cured. And I've seen the Trump haters say this over and over because they dont even know that a virus cannot be cured. </p><p></p><p> And they grab articles and make claims that just are not what's being said. We all know that the meds have shown no improvement in hospitalized patients. Its shown a lower risk of ending up hospitalized if given early on. </p><p></p><p> Does that mean we KNOW it works and that those people were just not going to developed a severe case? Nope.
