Am I the only one who doesn't want syrup on pancakes?

There is already sugar in the pancake mix plus my wife tends to use butter to grease the pan so they come out extra buttery. At most I will put some jelly or jam on them but I do even that lightly.

Don't get me wrong, we shop at Costco, so the kids get real maple syrup... I just find I don't need or want all that extra sugar.

I've made these many times and they are awesome :D I put cacao powder in mine.

I know it SOUNDS bad....but believe it's not. Not how i do it at least.
