It promotes domestic employment, it controls illegal immigration resulting in rising wages, it promotes greater supply chain security, it results in cheaper energy for regular people. Wealth elites dislike it because they can no longer out source to China and ignore regular Americans. This is making our current political realignment where Republicans are populists who support regular people while Dems exclusive focus on the wealthy and fringe ideological movements like transgender ideology, turning public education into indoctrination camps, sterilizing children, promoting ped0philia, even murdering babies after they are born. Oh, and we can't forget they support defending police and having full on lawlessness.

Just look at these disgusting and corrupt Democrat elites whose only concern is stealing everything they possibly can. They are looting America to death even as they lecture regular people to own nothing and live like mideval peasants.
