PS, I'm not on a "diet." It's a life choice, and it's permanent. I do intermittent fasting because the human body was not designed to eat at regular intervals. It's a healthy choice, that's all. I also choose not to sit around in a recliner.

.. Sometime, somewhere...maybe long ago, maybe forgotten, he was deeply wounded. A wound which never healed and which he defends from exposure by blindly lashing out at all those who might get close enough to stick a finger in it. So sad. That's just no way to live.

.. We have made great progress over the past 4 1/2 years. Of course like in all endeavors there are retrograde periods as we are experiencing now. Still got the trolls, worst of all some of the most pathetic, irredeemable sort - the flametard (no need to mention names here), but we are resolved to press forward until the riff-raff is sent away or repatriated as human. We will succeed.

It's the reason i've stuck around. I love the discussion and the exchange of opinions. It's a smart community, with diverse backgrounds, locations and experiences.

btw, there's a huge difference between "ignore' and "not responding". There's always a time and place to respond, and the effect is even more profound. The "ignore" was troll bait, and I caught two whales. They were never on ignore, I'll just respond as I see fit.

I think the "ignore" button is lovely. I just click on "show ignored content" if and when I feel like it. Honestly, it makes this a lovelier place. I don't have to see Biggie Bullshitter, Prowling Potato, or Duhv spewing their nonsense if I'm not in the mood.
