...or other lung disease...

..I smoked for many years and also had a work accident many years ago in which I was exposed to chlorine gas and likely have some damage related to that. I am very outdoorsy, hiker year round and I like climbing (not mountain or that free climbing stuff). My limiting factor (other than the midgetism) is that my lungs crap out under heavier exertion. Recently I became aware of a device which helps free the obstructions in lungs with regular use. I started using it lightly for 3 days and then went fishing in an area that requires a climb of a longish and steep hill trail out. I've never made it more than half way up w/o having to catch my breath. That day, however, I got 3/4s of the way up, and the next day the whole way up. It would not be that hard for a young, reasonably healthy full sized person, but for me it was a very happy and remarkable accomplishment. This was after only 3 or 4 days of use.
...anyway, I occasionally like to help my fellow humans out with a bit of information that may be helpful to them, even if I don't care for them personally or even think very little of them, so here is the device which any of you may check out and perhaps benefit from.

AEROBIKA* OPEP Device

For drug-free therapy or can be used with a nebulizer
BRONCHIECTASIS
COPD
CYSTIC FIBROSIS
DRUG FREE
NEBULIZED MEDICATION

Why use this device?

The AEROBIKA* Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) device is a drug-free and easy to use device that can help clear excess mucus in the airways and improve breathing.1
The AEROBIKA* device has an innovative pressure-oscillation mechanism that creates positive pressure pulses when a patient exhales. The positive pressure created can assist with opening weak or collapsed airways.1 The AEROBIKA* device also produces vibrations in the airways that can help to thin and loosen mucus, naturally moving it to the upper airways where it can be coughed out easily.2
The AEROBIKA* device can be used to manage respiratory conditions such as

Thanks for the sentiment. I don’t take vaccines, smoke or take prescription drugs. Most of all I don’t stress and have a high tolerance to anything viral or bacterial.
Isn’t this item just another ventilator aid??

No, not at all. What it does as you exhale is set up a counter-pulse which loosens obstructions in the lungs.
I haven't used it in 3 days and went on a hike-in fishing thing today. It's remarkable how much more open my lungs are and how much more deeply I ken breeve even days after the last use. To me it's miraculous.

No…y’all know that I don’t read through the finer details. People tend to bullshit themselves through life with puff-braggery and the like. I tend to do my research if I’m semi-convinced.

Well…I’m glad that you gave up smoking. It’s a mug’s habit. I quit in 2015, although I wasn’t a heavy smoker. I smoked other people’s cigarettes when I got pissed.

I'm getting a little weezy today. I have to start being more faithful to the device.
.I quit about 20 years ago, but much damage had been done. Really I am grateful that I can still get out and do all of my outdoor stuff.

Why do COPD sufferers get special rights? Very unfair!
