Why bother paying down the debt when the working class can bust their butts to subsidize the Billionaire Oligarchs who just steal from them? In no other Western democracy would people accept the kind disparity like that which exists in the United States.

It's abundantly clear that the US could at least stabilize its National Debt if it wanted to. The ultra rich in America can most definitely afford to pay more tax.
