Where was jacks epic meltdown before he left?
Some things are better left unposted. Sometimes you simply need to look at a person's actions, in this case, a sudden departure following an expression of angry approching the level of fury, a month long absence and silent return along with dodging any pointed questions referring to the situation.

It requires observation and an ability to interpret human nature and the actions of an individual to derive logical conclusions.

I know you're totally lost but someone else may benefit from these words.

Just leaving is not an epic meltdown, have you lived a very sheltered life?

@Jack didn't just leave. But I understand how the rest of what I said went right over your head.

I give myself credit for trying to explain it in a simple, easy to comprehend fashion and I am not surprised it didn't go as I would have liked.

Going forward, when I attempt to explain something to you I will try to use smaller words and shorter phrases.

I'll take your word for it. I am not going to bash @Alticus today as he said nice things about my wife after clearly spending an inordinate amount of time perusing my Facebook feed. He appears to be extending an olive branch and for now I will accept it.

I just wanted help after starting a thread that I obviously was too intoxicated to find a proper name for after I struggled to type it out and derailed it myself. I'm not feeling victimized by anything. Sometimes my ass shouldn't be typing here lmao
I can relate. I once drank an entire bottle of cough syrup. Made me nasty as fuck. I would have picked a fight with a grizzly bear that night. I was just dishing out the insults to everyone on the board. lol

Do you really need to ask? He's an idiot
That's probably not THE reason.

Someone drinking an entire bottle of cough syrup is almost always a sign that something is wrong, not a normal choice. There are a few broad reasons this can happen, and none of them are safe.

Why someone might do it

  • Accidental overdose — Some people misunderstand dosing instructions or think “more will work faster,” especially when they’re sick, exhausted, or not thinking clearly.
  • Trying to get high — Certain cough syrups contain dextromethorphan (DXM), which in very large amounts can cause dissociation or hallucinations. This is dangerous and can lead to seizures, heart problems, or hospitalization.
  • Self‑harm or emotional distress — Sometimes people use whatever is available when they’re overwhelmed or struggling.
  • Dependence or addiction — Misuse can turn into a pattern, especially with DXM‑containing products.

Hello wizer

I ran out of Demerol and the cough syrup was cheap. At that time I would've drank piss if it got the job done. Stone cold addict behavior sir.
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.

Have you considered getting some help before you destroy yourself?

The best years of your life could be ahead rather than behind you.

Thinking more will help the symptoms of a cold instead of doing a cocktail of stuff that will help but not get you trashed. I want to delete but can't. Saw his response after I replied.
