I was serving dinner at a district scout fundraising event and he was the guest speaker. He gave the dozen or so of us autographed baseballs, shook our hands, and let us take pictures together. Genuinely nice bloke...

Yes, indeed. In order to emigrate. It was no biggie because I'm not a criminal. Just had to wait for the FBI clearance and time it with the visa application deadlines.

I was arrested once for walking my dog without a leash (she unexpectedly jumped out of my car into the path of a cop car before I could restrain her. The cop lost his shit) but charges were dropped and my record expunged when I went to court and the judge took one look at the charges and couldn't believe his fucking eyes. The cop who charged me was in court for the tongue lashing he got from the judge. LMAO
