Honestly, this hypocrisy in our society pisses me off so much.
We feel like we share every fart on social media, tell complete strangers about our depression or heartbreak, but as soon as someone has to SCAT, everyone acts as if this biological function doesn't even exist in them. Why does everyone act as if this ¤rea state secret?
Think about how much more relaxed life would be if you just called a spade a spade.
Best example: bus trip. He's been on the bus for four hours, his stomach is already grumbling dangerously. But instead of the bus driver just saying through the microphone, uh: soooo guys, 15 min SCAT break, get the key over there and have a relaxing time“, there's a lot of pressure. It's better to say „stretch legs“. Then, sweating profusely, you sneak to the rest stop toilet, sincerely hope that no one on the bus sees you, and panic because it takes you longer than 3 minutes.
How awesome would it be if you just got back on the bus afterwards, sat down and the person sitting next to you said: Wow, clean, first I disposed of the old baggage from this morning, now I feel human again. No silly whining like „wow, he was in the toilet for a long time“, just understanding.
We spend hours devouring shit, getting stomach aches, and stressing ourselves out for absolutely no reason, just because we're afraid of what others think. These other people poop exactly the same way as you do. Just drop that ridiculous facade. If we all relaxed about that, everyday life would be sooooo much easier
