Buy Now or Later in the Year?

There are items I'm interested in buying.

Under normal circumstances I'd delay these purchases. However with the Iran War it's pushing oil prices higher including food & consumer items. So there may be a lot more inflation by mid year & accelerating after that.

So wait? Or buy now?

Or just buy some items & delay other purchases ? Whats your thoughts ?

Yes, yes, but Mr. Thiel tells us how excited you get over your gold foil wrapped chocolate coins. I know you read at TBC, so you must have seen it.
that was fuckin hilarious.

:::memories::: you were always the best part of the Valhalla invasion Gurk.

still my favorite memory. Everyone I know insists I should write a book.

Money is tight this month... we've got big payments due... but I've quadrupled down on shelf stable food items, basic substances, fuel stabilizer, and extra 20 litre fuel Jerry cans. I've also purchased an additional 5 Lifestraw Peak units to compliment the 10 of the original type we have on hand (I've given up trying to find affordable water filter cartridges to our original Grayl bottles), a replacement Solo rocket stove which I lost out the side of my ute around a bend somewhere 3 years ago (I really loved that unit... RIP) and a couple cases of cheap butane canisters from the online equivalent of Kmart here..

Food wise, we were already pretty well set up to last 6 months from stocks but much longer with gardening... so I doubled down on rice and various dried beans/legumes.... baking powder, shelf stable yeast, and generic branded (cheap) spices. Obviously, I got it at half current prices... the calm before the storm.

I reckon we can make it without a garden at least a year now. Should be plenty of time for all you motherfuckers to kill each other off.

(I also got cases of Coca-Cola and 3 kilos of popcorn kernels)....

Senile @Joe lives in a one-bedroom government subsidized apartment.

He has not room for all that!!!

If only he could use all that empty space in his head.

If he was truly autistic, he would have already looked at maths figures on a sheet in varying degrees of Rainman heavy or Rainman light, then come to a succinct conclusion in his mind about his future course or courses of action in a highly volatile world and where to avoid the Black Swans (as opposed to X who barks at them on the panes with his exposed buttcheeks and anus plastered against those very same kitchen windows).

Joe, like X... is very insecure. You or me? We make choices... A lot of them are bad. But we make them, live with them, possibly learn from them.... AND we DIE DIE DIE!

I'm just saying.... it's not so much about the levels of intellect in these sort of people, but rather, lack of courage (or spine).

"Nobody gets out alive" is the most purest and noble thought any organic being could ever have.

Joe (and many others here) need to embrace it....by religion or philosophy.

Yes, images of Gold coins encite feelings of envy @Reggie_Essent

Perhaps I shouldn't have posted them.

Many others, especially the feeble minded can't bear the sight of illustrious shiny metals....Reggie!

How will any of those help you, bar the shoes, when some nation detonates a tactical nuke in the upper atmosphere and renders your non protected circuitry moot?

THINK!!!

You could have just said "I am Joe and I don't understand what you're saying"... instead of going off into left field.

I'm not interested in further talk with morons or cowards... ciao (unless you start authentically conversing on a human level)....

For fuck sakes, @Joe , you are not talking about a tonne of money.

If you want the stuff, just buy it. You might as well start enjoying it ASAP.

You do not have much time.

He's got no infrastructure or knowhow to keep or preserve the things he so desperately cherishes...

Ask him how he keeps his electronics "safe" or "viable" or "marketable" if there is no power.

He may do an internet search and say "the microwave"!! or the this and that.... but he still doesn't understand (or want to publicly) what his worthless purchases will get him... a fat nothing.

I know you read at TBC, so you must have seen it.
You know I rarely go to the Blue Cashee anymore because every time I post something it always gets censored or deleted.

The Blue Cashew is the Censorship King & North Korea of the Internet forums.

Neurotic Ninnies who are afraid or everything & can't tolerate anything that doesn't fit their narrative.

TBC is afraid of Free Speech Reggie!

There's like 3 normal people from there who post here.

You, @Dove & @The Cuntess
