It’s lent… and I’m back to hardcore practicing Catholicism (mostly because I’m getting married in a Catholic Church)

I am on the veggie/fish diet until Easter… but it’s St. Paddy’s day soon…

What if I use just the bacon grease?

Where in the bible does it say you cannot eat meat at ANY point in the year?

It doesn’t. There are various degrees of this fast for Catholics. Some only don’t eat mean on Friday. The more traditional uphold being pescatarian for the full 40 days.

Some people fast for extended periods during this as well. It all depends on the person and how they were resided really. Most of my friends never eat meat on Fridays.
