Could Trump be forced to resign over the Epstein Scandal?

I'm starting to wonder...

It may be that many Republicans had already grown tired of Trump & the Epstein affair is just an excuse to get rid of him.

Maybe some think he gave them their tax cut, fired much of the civil service & passed the Genius Act for Crypto Investors so perhaps there is not much else major left for him to do.

Plus with Republican poll numbers underwater might make sense to get rid of Trump before next year's midterm elections. Also the tariff plan hasn't gone as smoothly and its adversely affecting districts and supporters who voted for Trump.

Just a thought. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump being forced to step down & the ones doing it to him might end up being Republican party insiders.

Just an opinion. feel free to agree or disagree & state your own pov.

Short of a successful assassination or an unexpected health issue, Trump isn't going anywhere.

That should be obvious by now.

That whole "Trump panicking" thing is just seen in clickbait articles.

He might get a bit of heat from it but nothing that hasn't been thrown around already.

Would you bet the other way then?

$50 says nothing short of an death or major health issue will stop Trump from finishing out his term.
Trump is in terrible health, so I'm not going to bet that he won't be incapacitated before he gets impeached or forced to resign. But I don't think he'll last out his term. He is wreaking way too much havoc. And not at all in a good way.

Trump is in terrible health? Do you have a source for that because all I come up with from my searches is that he's doing just fine. Which I'm sure is somewhat of an embellishment but not seeing anything to the contrary.

I take that as "No, I don't have a source for my creative ideas based on wishful thinking".
No. You can take it that way if you want, but what I was really saying was, "I'm not going to take my time rounding up evidence that your TDS will cause you to deny. I have better things to do." I'm sure you also believe he is 6'3," weighs 224, and is super smart.

There is no evidence, anyone with half a brain and internet access can do a search and come up with nothing negative about Trump's health in under 10 seconds.

Less time than it took you to make up a bunch of crap about Trump's health in the first place.

Okay. Go for it, then.

For the record:

I challenged @LotusBud's questionable claim that Trump's health was poor and offered a $50 bet which was declined.

I then pointed out that @LotusBud's claims that Trump's health was poor is disputed by a lack of any credible evidence as per an internet search.

Now @LotusBud comes up with an incomprehendible statement to the effect of 'prove me wrong'.

That ship has sailed honey.

You offered a 50 buck bet that stipulated "if he doesn't die in office," and I argue that it's pretty damn likely he will die in office, so I ain't taken that bet, pal.

If Trump doesn't die in office he will complete his term. That's my side of the bet.

If Trump doesn't complete his term due to reasons other than death, then you win the bet.

In other words, if he dies, then the bet is off, otherwise the bet is still on.

This was in response to the subject of the thread that you started, inferring that Trump will be forced to resign.

I couldn't possibly have been any clearer.

Um, yes, you could have. You said nothing about the bet being off if he dies in office. Anyway, my stance is that it is more likely that he will die in office than that he will be forced to resign, but that also could happen. Either way, he won't be handing over the keys to the WH in 2029.

Anyway, I don't need to make it about money. Just come here and laugh in my face if he does manage to make it to the end of his term. Don't get so huffy about the idea of a 50 buck bet on a forum.

Why did he just have a 2nd physical that included an MRI if he’s the picture of health and vitality that your exhaustive internet searching discovered?

Are you aware, as you speculate that Trump is in good heath, that you have no facts to prove that?

The results of his medical tests in April 2025. The TLDR version is that "President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function. His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being."

Oh. I'm starring to wonder as your country gets closer to next year's midterms if Trump will be perceived more as a liability than an asset, particularly if the economy doesn't pick up for most Americans @wizer

How would you feel about the possibility of a President JD Vance?

Is this a remote possibility ?

Or are Republicans terrified that it could become a reality & he couldn't keep the tent together ?

How do I feel personally about JD Vance being the next (or a future) US President?

I don't really care all that much given that I no longer live in the US, however he wouldn't be my first choice.

Trump entered his worst financial difficulties in the early 90’s. He Bankrupted Trump Taj Mahal in ‘91 & Trump Plaza Hotel in ‘92. He was accused of raping his wife in ‘89. Their divorce finalized in ‘92.
During the bankruptcy he paid off $23 million to the parents of these known accusers, ages 10-12:

Kelly Feuer, 12 Yr: ‘89- $1 million
Michael Parker, 10 Yr: ‘92-$3 million
Charles Bacon, 11 Yr: ‘94-$3 million
Maria Olivera, 12 Yr: ‘94-$16 million

Later, these accusations came in which he may have settled but this is TBD:

Katie Johnson, 13 Yr: ‘94-Status Unknown
Jane Doe, 14 Yr: ‘94 Jane-Status Unknown (via Jacqueline Sweet)

Trump met Epstein in 1989. Of course, there may be MANY other victims who have been paid off or otherwise silenced. In an earlier post I suggested that “at least” 3 children had made credible accusations against Trump. After a little more digging, I realize the number is actually SIX children age 10-14 in the course of 5 years. And yes, Megyn Kelly, people age 10-14 ARE children. I have to say, if you pay a family millions for their silence, it’s fair to say the claim likely has merit so I have included the two cases where Trump was accused of raping 2 boys.

Megyn Kelly seems like she's owned by Trump @Admin.

Didn't care much how she cozied or sucked up to him during your 2024 election

That's not even credible journalism.
