That both sides do everything they can to gerrymandering is a major reason why politics has gotten so extreme. The other major problem is the racist parts of the voting rights act of 1965 which legally require racially gerrymandered congressional districts.

True, but as you alluded too, gerrymandering for blacks is protected. You should look at Illinois Districts. Funny thing tho, blacks are being so diluted by illegals, they are forcing blacks out of politics! Fukin hilarious!!!! Blacks are going to be a double minority soon!!!

I agree. All gerrymandering is bad and racial gerrymandering is the worst because it is race based and therefore explicitly racist in intent.
