I have never been a fan of D & D @Alticus
In fact I have never played it.

However, its success is phenomenal.
If gamesters were musicians, then D&D would be the Beatles.

Hard to believe that a game which began on a Kitchen table in Small Town America could actually change the Planet's culture like it did.
In its own way, it changed the world.
and in a somewhat positive way because it brought people together not tore them apart.

That's what I find truly amazing. Unbelievable

But like you say...its inventor, Gary, musta been a genius to envision a game which became so adaptable to the computer age, even tho it was invented before the proliferation of computers.
