....WTF??
So nice to see that legal issues are handled with a great amount of honesty and dignity.
It might be the floor plan, but I'm not sure. Still, to make that ruling about tacos and burritos is a serious case of headupassitis. It seems to be a weird law or regulation to begin with...why would they limit the establishment to sandwiches?

To me a sandwich is meats/veggies and a condiments that are placed between slices of bread. Since a burrito is more like a wrap, then that judgement is bure BS.One could make the argument that the tortilla is the "bread" of indigenous people of Mexico. Until the Spanish arrived with flour, there was no bread.
Kind of like naan bread, pita, etc.
And tacos and burritos are informal food items.
Most Mexican meals at home are served on a plate and are accompanied by tortillas.

I would, but my quill feather pen is in the shop.I suppose you're right. You need to write the judge a strongly worded letter and let him know how this is an absolute injustice.

According to their site, no tortas on their menu. While it's being repaired, you need to find an argument for how Tortas (meat and veggies between 2 pieces of bread) are not sandwiches. They're on the menu. Good luck!
The only shame of their menu is that they don't offer enchiladas. I very, very much love enchiladas.I have found online menus and in store menus to be different sometimes. I'm not quite sure why, it's sort of annoying to be honest.

Good point, but that judge has way too much time on his hands.LOVE enchiladas!!
Anyway, I saw this on the news and it does seem an odd law and legal ruling. Seems to me it has something to do with preparing 'ready made' stuffs vs having permits for a full cooking operation?
