Standards are much lower...

I grew up where people were only allowed to kiss for 3 seconds on TV movies...THREE SECONDS

The first pair to be seen sharing a bed on TV out of America was the Brady Bunch parents... all other American bedroom seems were two single beds between married people.

Now everything has to have homosexuls full on making out it makes me vomit.

We are overtly sexualized. I don’t agree with it.

I can’t even imagine what it would have been like to be raised in a wholesome environment where innocence is preserved.

I completely believe in preserving traditional family values as long as it’s devoid of the intolerance and hatred of our past.

If someone is starting to show signs of LGBTQ+ as a child, I believe that society can deal with them in a more civilized and tolerant manner devoid of encouragement and abusive punishment. But that won’t happen until society as whole finds love in their hearts again.

I don’t feel free. I also no longer feel safe since Trump. Mostly because the rage has gotten so much worse. Tensions are so high everywhere I go.

For instance, I went for a drive last week up PCH and when I started entering Malibu this guy in the car behind me starts blaring his horn. I had slowed a tad because the car in front of me got in the turn lane for Nobu and there is no light at that driveway. I slowed because I’m anticipating someone could be also trying to turn and merge and just left a popular restaurant that serves alcohol.

This fucker literally starts honking his horn and I’m like are you fucking serious? He has a beautiful woman in his passenger seat. He clearly isn’t dressed for work. What is the hury? Why is it imperative to be a dick in this setting? So I stopped my car and I looked in the rear view mirror and I make a hand gesture of look around you and smiled before I flipped him off and sped away. He couldn’t catch me so double fuck you asshole!

People are in their insular worlds. I used to drive fast and hurry around all the time too. I never got to the point of having incidents with other drivers often at all. Every once in a blue moon when I felt a jerk had put me at risk.

That guy was self-absorbed. My guy can get like that behind the wheel. He doesn't honk at people, but he rants about people being in his way. I'm like "and who are you?" We're both retired, wtf is the hurry is my attitude. My favorite is when people rev their cars and spend about 3 bucks of gas flooring the pedal to the metal. Like seriously? Here I come, maybe 20 seconds after you and we're here waiting at the red light...together, dumbshit.

Thursday night when my daughter, grandson and I were headed to dinner out. We stopped at a three way stop. I waited for my term, the car to the right of me was stopped...as I went through, dumbass decides to rush through. Here I did honk because he was about to hit us. My daughter lost her shit. The guy would have hit her son. She, like I am, is a mama bear. She flipped him off, told him off...he said nothing. I guess he realized he'd fucked up.

She felt bad for losing her shit and told her son that mom hadn't handled that well, she was scared and made a bad choice. He just said "I want to say that word." She'd said quite a few...lol

She said which one. He said THE bad word. She said well, children can't use those words and neither should mom. He asked if he could say them when he was "big". She decided to identify the word and said "You can say it one time".

He said I want to say "fuck". Oh dear, it was so hard not to laugh. She kept her straight face too. She told him it was a really bad word and he could decide when he was a young man, but for now, no way.

He seemed to get it out of his system a bit though. The mystique was sort of gone, or so we hope.

I have only ever smoked weed, eaten edibles or gotten drunk (ages ago). My bf at the time gave me an edible and gave me too much. I was on a beach and was basically catatonic. It was god awful. LOL I was overwhelmed. Was car sick coming home...I missed out on the fun because I just sat on the sand with my arms around my knees, holding myself up. hahaha

It's funny now.
