As a little help to you foreigners I'll explain why Peter used the phrases Jeux sans Frontiers' and 'It's a Knockout' in conjunction in 'Games Without Frontiers'.
Obviously the first is a rough translation of the title but it was also the French name for a European wide gameshow which first gave the Japanese the idea for publicly humiliating people on prime time TV,which was known in the UK as 'It's a Knockout'
