By the time I got into university, we were discouraged from taking too many courses. You could get expelled for having too many units. I double majored, so I barely skated by since I had to meet requirements for to majors.

By the time I got into university, we were discouraged from taking too many courses. You could get expelled for having too many units. I double majored, so I barely skated by since I had to meet requirements for to majors.

The School I went to had a “flat rate” for ft Enrollment from 12-18 credit hours. Over 18 hours incurred an up charge, which I heard
Only the Asian students ever paid, on top of their already higher out of state tuition fees.

I don’t remember anyone I was friends with taking over 18 hours. And only heard ‘rumors’ that many Asians did, which was believable when you rarely saw them not studying or scurrying off to the Engineering Department etc
