Not from mean tweets or made up Russia bullshit. Not from emooolaments whatever those are. A presidency ends when americans are abandoned to die by their leader.
Still a lot of Americans, Canadians, Aussies, Europeans whomever...who were not affiliated with their governments nor mandated to be in Afghanistan, shouldn't have stayed there. I mean what were they doing there? Trying to make a last buck as contractors before they left? As tourists/curiosity/thrill seekers?
I think the American government made provisions for their own citizens to leave at least 6 months ago...even on expired passports or suitable ID. So if a person stayed in Afghanistan on their own cognizance when they were fully aware it was an unfavorable situation, they have no on e to blame but themselves.
I wonder if they thought leaving the place after their own government was packing up was as easy as checking out at the Hilton. When a place is falling apart, it's like being in a building that's on fire. They shouldn't be there.
It's not entirely Biden's fault or the US government's.
People have to take responsibility for their own actions sometimes.
Biden failed to evacuate Americans and handed the taliban billions of dollars worth of American weapons and equipment.
So yes Joe.. it really is his fault.
Even if Biden is at fault, I think people expect too much.
A perfect withdrawal from Afghanistan?
Was D-Day perfect? Did large numbers of allied soldiers die when they didn't have to?
Point being, the execution of something is never perfect in an imperfect situation.
People wnat this nice neat withdrawl package rather than recognizing Afghanistan as the messy situation that it is/already was.
I even hear people in Canada blaming the USA for Canadians trapped in Afghanistan. In which case I have to ask my fellow countrymen - unless they were diplomats, government employees, what the hell where they doing there? That's Biden's fault as well? Why didn't these Canadians get out when they were warned by our country and yours as well?
And as for Afghanistan and the Afghans defending it, how come they gave up so soon?
did they collude with the Taliban and give or sell arms to them?
did they profit from it?
If there was one big mistake the US made - it was allying themselves with a group as scummy as the Afghan government.
I wonder how many billions supplied by the US taxpayer Karzai & his corrupt friends embezzled/took out of Afghanistan.
If biden ran D-Day, your ass would be speaking German, josephine!
If people don't get out when they're warned 4 months ago, whos fault is that?!
