It catches up with you though... :/
Oh, I know. I can't eat junk like I used to. I used to go through a 12 pack of pop a day along with like 4 Pizza Pops. Now I can't drink nearly that amount of pop. My stomach won't let me. lol

I stopped drinking soft drinks awhile ago. Once in a while, I'll go ahead and order one when I'm out. I seem to drink about a third of it...just too sweet. I'm eliminating that now since it's a complete waste of money.

Soft drinks at a restaurant are at least $4 each around these parts.

I remember years ago my dentist said that he doesn't want me to drink pop anymore. Even diet pop. Funny thing about it was I felt like he was my father scolding me. lol

I don't know what that is. I'll have to look it up.
You might not have heard of it or even have them where you live in the US @Lily

I never knew that a donair had pepperoni in it until I bought these.

They're good if they're made fresh with special meat, Middle Eastern sauces, etc.

First time I had one was back in the 1980s.

They have a lot of those donair joints in Vancouver.

A few really good ones where the food is yummy.

They usually do not. I have never seen that before. It is not normal.

"special meat"

The meat is ground beef, you stooge.

"Middle Eastern sauces"

The only sauce used is what is described in the Wiki article, you stooge. Nothing "Middle Eastern" about it. You stooge.

How is being surprised at noticing pepperoni in a donair stupid? I've had many donairs in my time that never had pepperoni in them.

Well Lex @The Prowler those places are all run by Lebanese, Afghan, Muslim types.

Maybe a few Greeks. Greeks used to run them, but at least in Vancouver, the Muslims seem to have a monopoly on them now. I think they use halal meat, and they slow cook or roast them on a rack.

They don't use ground beef, Lex.

At least in Vancouver they don't.

It's thinly shaved or sliced.

Maybe it's different where you live tho.

Oh shut up, Senile @Joe.

You are the fuckwit who had to use Wiki to even know what a donair is.

It is made with ground beef. It is ground very fine....mixed with spices and mixed and mixed until it is like a thick paste. No chunks. Then it is formed into a loaf or a log and baked. Then it is cooled. Then reheated on a skewer or it can be sliced and fried.

I posted a picture a while ago of a donair made right in my own kitchen, you dopey bitch.

You can click on the picture to zoom in and see what the meat should look like when it is done.
