I was told today in the ShoutBox that I seem to be bragging when I talk about my charmed life.
But I never brag. I just talk about reality.
But maybe I do not present a good balance of the good and bad.
I suppose it is the optimist in me that likes to always focus on the positive things.
Anyways, I thought I would talk about one of the challenges in my life. To give a more balanced perspective.
The Small Trunk Challenge
My C8 Corvette has a small trunk. It actually fits two golf bags in it, so we take it golfing. But my full hockey equipment bag does not fit. To get it into the trunk I have to remove a few things and put them in the trunk beside the bag. A total pain in the ass.
So usually what I do is this:
1) Open the garage door from the man door in the garage.
2) Exit the house at the front door with my hockey equipment.
3) Place the bag on the driveway.
4) Pull the C8 Corvette out of the garage and put it in Park on the driveway.
5) Exit the C8 Corvette, walk around to the other side of the car, and put the hockey equipment onto the passenger seat.
6) Get in the C8 Corvette and drive to the arena.
See @Alticus .
I have my own challenges; my life is not without struggles.
