I'm shocked I tell thee...
The ongoing protests in France have left many around the world wondering if one of the pillars of Western civilization is on the verge of collapse. That the violence sweeping through major cities leaving a thousand police and emergency workers injured, and costing tens, maybe hundreds, of millions of dollars in damage was conducted under the color of foreign flags — Algerian, Moroccan, and chief among them Palestinian — suggests that whatever may replace the Fifth Republic won’t be for the better.
Weird huh? The implication here is that France hasn't been pro-Israel enough and has subsequently been punished.
