Some people don't believe in "evolution" they believe in "revolution" and want things to happen overnight. Now, we've lost, at least in women's rights, 50+ years of movement forward. We're losing ground in gaining a multi-racial democracy.

All we've done is lose ground, not that the Democratic Party are blameless. They have plenty of responsibility as well, probably most of it. The point is to beat off the authoritarians, and then work on the Democratic party after the election. People need to be active all the time, not just during a campaign.
