I came across a video in my YouTube food where some historians or writers claim that J Edgar Hoover, the director of the FBI, was actually Black passing for a White person.




Of course in those days a Black person couldn't rise very high in American society, so it's alleged that those who looked 'White' disguised their identities so the society at that time would accept them.
