[QUOTE="Dove, post: 577623, member: 535"] Its scent they remember. And my tuxies know I solve their problems lol. I brought them inside (with their momma) when they were like....6 or 7 weeks. The cutest little tuxedo puff balls(they are both fluffy). And I worked on "taming" them because they were feral....momma wasnt feral, but a stray someone dumped in my area. Which disgusts me to no end because shes such a good cat. We call her Salem...a name my mother gave her when she was still the outdoor porch cat. Salem is my kitty. Shes my lovey lap cat. Shes very intelligent and the "boss" of the other cats in the house. When I sit down to relax shes right there next to me and she "guards" me when I sleep. She gave birth on my leg (it was super gross but also kinda cool). I think she associated me with my mothers ex leaving and her getting indoor access lol. Fred was the reason Salem remained outside. I would be in the house and this cat would be on the rail of the deck staring in the house. There was no way I was leaving that poor cat put there in the cold, rainy and snowy weather looking in the window like that. No way. You could FEEL her watching. It just broke my heart and I brought that cat in, along with her adorable kittens, and found homes for alm of them EXCEPT her and her tuxedos. Theyve been mine since day 1. She even completely cooperates with going to the vet. I think she knows she feels much better after a vet trip. I really dont understand what sort of heartless piece of total shit would dump a cat like that...especailly such a good one....but shes ours now. Scum bag fucktards dump these poor cats in my area all the time. And they do not do well at all. Feral cats are made for outside....these cats have been socialized too much to survive like that. I cant bring them in the house anymore because I have too many....so now I feed them on my deck and I have cat bed out there for them. I have a grey cat we call Skittles who I'm taking to a farm this week. He is VERY skiddish....looks like hell....poor cat was probably abused and dumped and he moved to my deck.
