This month of June marks the 4th anniversary of the death of the famous Kimbo Slice.
Kevin Ferguson, known as Kimbo Slice, was a fighter who became known for his street fights spread all across the Internet, mainly through YouTube.
The two fighters stayed in the backyard of a house, in an open field, in a park, they started fighting and then went their own ways. Kimbo was characterized by arriving, dropping four punches, winning the fight and going where he had come from. Rolling Stone magazine nicknamed it "The King of the Web Brawlers."
But Kimbo's reign came to an end when he faced off against Sean Gannon, a Boston police officer.
Kimbo was characterized by giving everything in the first seconds of combat, but Sean knew how to hold and throw some blows very well and that's where Kimbo's Achilles heel was discovered: Kimbo had nothing in the background.
Within a few minutes of fighting Kimbo began to get tired and Gannon ended up knocking him down.

That fight shows everybody what to do in a street fight - duck! If he's taller or smaller, duck. Now, most street fights I've been in end up on the ground, either in some lock or ground-n-pound. Or just stomping and soccer kicker while the other dick is in the dirt.

Street fights usually involve more than two people though - always, downtown here on 6th Street where fights break out and turn into huge brawls when drunk motherfuckers get bumped hard from behind or get their shiny Nikes stepped on. Shit gets hectic. It's a better idea to go to 5th Street where the clubs aren't all playing nigguh buuuullshit...
