....and it brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my face. :ThumbsUp3:
And it may also be a precursor to a messy and divided Republican National Convention in 2024, dinky. So I don't knows if ya'll be smiling when your party goes down to defeat in 4.
Already a number of prominent Republicans are threatening to jump ship rather than side with the pro Trump faction of the Republican Party. So this could split the Republican vote down the middle in 4 years thus ensuring a Democratic victory in 2024
I believe this happened in 1992 and 1996 when Ross Perot siphoned off enough voters to hand the presidency to Clinton, in spite of the fact that he never received 50 percent of the vote in either election.
The Trump ists are lot like the faction of the Democratic Party which tore it apart over 50 years ago.
They were known as the American Party led by Alabama governor and segregationist George Wallace who split the Democratic vote and handed the presidency to Richard Nixon:
Interestingly tho, George Wallace would never have approved of the rioter's actions as he would have in the name of public interest "hit them over the head' and given all authority to the police to do so.
