Yes my area beach is called a “gravel pit” so agates, fossils and beach glass are found

But it’s also mostly sandy the beach/sand is always in motion with the tide, and that action can be magnified in a storm, but walking along the beach you come across little fields of “gravel” that especially early morning low tides you’ll see other people beachcombing the gravel for agates and glass.

My home is actually on a little lake because, you know, my privileged whiteness. I will admit it is very calming to look out over the water as the light changes throughout the day and across the seasons. I set up my home office to be able to look out over my little pond whenever I wish.

Sea bugs are gross. It's something you have as a side with a big slab of red meat. And aside from a nice piece of Cod or properly prepared perch, fish is simply disgusting and unfit for human consumption.

Fresh is the best, but you would be surprised how much crab is frozen and handled right it’s not easy to notice
