Man gets Life in Prison for Killing an Uber Driver after both were scammed

The man who killed that woman is certainly guilty Lex @The Prowler

The question remains tho...is 100% guilty or responsible ?

Seems the scammer who pulled this prank is mostly responsible for her death but the Old Man paid for it with essentially whatever remains of his life.

Nevermined violent crimes being committed , these scammers are extremely dangerous. Too often they are treated as a nuisance by the media, but I think moving forward the law should come down hard on them.

Playing pranks or scamming others out of their savings has consequences.

How about life in prison for scamming some granny out of her life savings? and an additional sentence for every dollar stolen?



Or life in prison for driving someone to suicide because they were scammed out of their life savings?

Extradition treaties should apply to such individuals if they reside outside a country as well.

With the advent of AI being able to impersonate voices or producing credible likenesses of others this problem wiill continue to get worse.
