The US is currently crashing and burning because they do not care about their workers. No universal health care, very short vacation times, no maternity leave, very low pay, and the expecation of high productivity for workers. It is a corporatist's paradise. But the quality of living for the vast majority of working people sucks. It's why everyone in the US is quitting their jobs now.

This US cancer is Stage IV.

Nobody should get paid maternity leave. Worse than that, men shouldnt get PATERNITY leave at all! I scoff at men that I have to cover for when they take 1.5 to 2 months paternity leave. Its bullshit!
