You live far too much through your tawdry possessions Lex. That money would be better spent on self improvement such as better grooming, learning some proper etiquette or a hair transplant.

Moreover you let your possessions own you rather than you owning them Lex @The Prowler . You are the most materially owned poster on this forum. Why if someone stole your musclecar you’d go into spastic epileptic seizures for days from which you would never recover Lex

Are you going to be okay, Senile @Joe?

One day you are talking about where I buy all my "cheap crap" and the next you are melting down with some "your possessions own you" nonsense.

Is this getting too much for you to handle, Creepy @Joe?

I'm not sure what to think of the middle pickup. Is that a Mustang amp? I almost bought a smaller version but wasted my money on a Spark, instead. It's a nice little amp but I can't be bothered to dial in all the features it's supposed to provide.

*CHEAP CRAP ALERT*

I have a Korean G&L telecaster. Swamp Ash. String through body. Meticulously cared for. Replacement Seymour Duncan pickups. Original hardshell case. $400.

There ya go again with yer Home Depot rug Lex @The Prowler

A dead giveaway

It looks so kitschy

That carpet is in my basement.

You said "living room carpet" before, Senile @Joe.

The carpet in my basement is commercial grade low pile carpet with a really good underlay. That room is about 900 square feet. A very big rec room. One room probably bigger than your entire apartment.

Hahahaha!!!!
Underpad is what matters, not that Joe would know, you could have the cheapest carpeting but as long as you have top grade underpad it’ll last a long time.

It’s a valid choice of flooring for a basement
are you all that devoid of creativity and that desperate for a ‘win’ you think a medium grade carpeting with higher end under padding is troll material?
it’s a level loop Berber, I’ve sold thousands and thousands of square feet of that for basements
Am I missing something here?

It is a Stratocaster pickup. I have lots of pickup configuration options with that guitar.

Yup. I know that a lot of gear snobs will turn their noses up at solid state amps, but I can get more sounds out of that modelling amp than I could out of a $2000 tube amp and $2000 worth of effect pedals.

I do play a nice Egnater tube amp with a band I play in. It is pretty high end. Sometimes I play a Vox tube amp with them.

The audience does not hear any difference between a good tube amp and a good solid state amp.

The guitar I play most is Made in Korean Les Paul copy from the late 1970's.

My buddy bought a similar Gretsch. Let's call it Affordable rather than Cheap Crap. His brother had to do a setup on it, which is surprising since it came from Sweetwater. It's very nice.

Yeah, both my Gretsch guitars are Electromatics. The Players Editions and other high end Gretsch guitars are obviously nice, but I always seem to look at kinda mid-level guitars.

Yeah, and it feels nicer and that nice soft feel does not go away like the cheap underpad they use is Senile @Joe's apartment.

That carpeting in my basement is meant to go in places like large offices where there is a lot of foot traffic. It is meant to last.

When we decided on a carpet for my basement, durability was a huge factor. Could you imagine replacing 900 square feet of carpet because there is some bad wear at one or two spots? That was the thought process anyways.

Just for that, Senile @Joe is not going to be invited to my next Basement Open Mic Jam Session Party.

Next Tuesday, I’ll leap out of bed, make a cup of coffee and gaze gazingly at the Sea.

And there ain’t a darn thing you or anyone can do about it.
