Okay, I'm slowly recovering from last night's insult.
. Nesmith was ridiculous, but when a guy is killing you like that you need to run him off the 3 pt line and not give open looks knowing eventually odds are he'll miss. You gotta DO something.
2) Brunson left the game with Knicks up 2 and they opened the lead to 17 with him on the bench, 14 I think when he returned at 5 minutes to go. It will sound awful, but why when the 2 bigs + Deuce lineup was killing do you not let it go at least down to say 3 minutes then come back with Brunson? I know, this is why I'm an NBA coach...I get that, but actually I've played and watched enough basketball (and have enough if minor psychic ability) to feel games in advance of the action so by the time the lead was cut to 11 I was nearly certain of the outcome.
...and fuck that rim for bouncing the ball 10 ft straight up before guiding the ball though it. No really....

Okay, so the voting is in and the new kid got the award.
Fine, I get that they didn't want to hand a 4th MVP to Jokic, and the young fellow is a very nice young man, signing autographs for the children and all, but seriously.....
....Jokic is the first center to ever avg a triple double in the history of the NBA. His numbers are better than in any of his MVP seasons. His efficiency is the highest ever...eh..ver.
I know, it's not the best player award.....well, if that's the best excuse for this injustice then, ya know..
...do better nextime.

..because I think I had mentioned I have the river fishing tackle together. Made a few tweeks this afternoon...
..maybe a bit heavy on the plastics but I have a few new riggings and techniques I will be trying.
The weather will be dry for a good run and probably 4 days the river will be prime for Smallie fishing.
Got a new pair of lite summer hikers coming tomorrow. Hope they are the right size.

The two big lineup has been good to them, and also with Deuce.
. They have to quit digging holes for themselves to climb out of.
They have to treat this like a game seven in the sense that, they lose they go home.
I have no idea why I have any hope.
