If yer an American Democrat you should be cheering for him. He's the next best thing to having a Democratic President in the White House in absence of one.

One of the reasons he's hated by Republicans in the States is he actually knows the rules much better than Trudeau did & knows how to play by them. Plus he was Governor of the Bank of Canada & England so he's got deep connections with major Central Banks including the US Fed that can stand in Trump's way & the Republicans/Trump know that.

They can eat Trump for lunch before Trump eats them.

Plus the Carney's Attorney General Lametti has a PhD in International Law from Oxford which could stand in the way of Trump since that AG can bring other International Trade bodies inta the mix & put a wrench in Trump's plans for World Domination.

Look for a few messy fights between Carney & Trump with the latter losing a bunch of them in International Courts.

Trudeau was a pushover but Carney is the Resl Deal.

He needs to start talking about what Canada needs to do to be self-reliant. It will take work, but if we do things properly, we can get back to being a strong nation.
