As someone who used to cover the vapor industry and community, this is why the Feds were able to decimate it. Because of exactly this kind of stupid, irresponsible garbage product.

Different industry. The tobacco industry would never in a million years attempt to pull something this blatantly child-appealing, nor would any reputable vape manufacturer.

One's clearly targeted toward adults; the other is not. And the one that isn't is how the FDA was able to fuck vapers raw.

Yes, they were; I'm sure everyone has by now seen the Flintstones commercial hocking Winston cigarettes. But that's no longer the case. In fact, even most vape manufacturers (both of hardware and eliquid) won't pull that kind of crap anymore. But there are always outliers like the one in the OP.

Much later than those times...flavored tobacco was a long time.

I recall the tobacco industry being investing in vapes as well.

Yes, and most of us covering the industry and community were very vocal in our opposition to that. RJReynolds 'Vuse' is garbage, and as soon as Philip Morris invested in JUUL, we lit 'em up. Didn't do much good, of course, but we tried.

The only thing that ecer stopped tobacco were the lawsuits.
